This ignition switch is an OEM-style replacement designed for 1969–1992 rear-wheel drive (RWD) GM passenger cars equipped with tilt steering columns, as well as 1973–1986 Chevrolet and GMC C/K Pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, and Suburban models and 1987–1991 R/V series trucks on the Squarebody platform. Applicable to C/10 and R10 truck applications where equipped with tilt wheel, this switch mounts to the steering column and controls ignition, accessory, and starter circuits. Manufactured to factory specifications for configuration and function, it is intended for restoration and service replacement of worn or malfunctioning ignition switches in tilt column applications across GM RWD car and truck platforms.
